Wishlist Please, enable Wishlist.Sarah Pearson has 15 years’ experience of teaching and lecturing in art and design. She has a BA Hons degree from Central St Martins and holds QTLS teaching status having completed her PGCE whilst lecturing in 2009. She is passionate about art and design, in all its forms, and, although classically trained, she encourages experimentation with media and techniques.
The weekly Wednesday painting and drawing courses are suitable for artists of all levels of experience and are designed to help participants develop and improve their own practice. There will be weekly themes and starting points which can be adapted to suit personal preferences. Though there will be demonstrations and reference to work of other artists/art history the majority of the teaching and support will be one to one.
Methods and techniques will be taught in water-based and dry media they can be adapted to using oils if preferred though drying time will need to be considered. A materials and equipment list will be provided.
Sessions run from 9.30-12.30pm, with a mid-morning break, refreshments are provided.
The first Half term is offered as a block of 5 lesson @ £30 per week ie £150 for 5 half day sessions

22nd, 29th January, 5th, 12th, 19th, February 2025
