Come and learn to weave a small English willow foraging/berry basket using traditional basketry techniques. This course is suitable for beginners but good manual dexterity and strength means it might not be suitable if you have any issues with your hands such as arthritis.
The techniques that you will learn include, paring, waling, randing, trac border and pegging a handle or you will have the option to add a leather handle which will carry an additional charge of £5.00 payable on the day.
Bring a pinny or wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit messy, no open toed shoes as we will be using sharp tools.
Groups are limited to 6 people to ensure quality of provision.
Delicious home made lunches and refreshments included. Please contact sarah@thelimes.online if you have any special dietary requirements.
