Day 1 – “The Qualities of Light and Form: Portraiture”…  exploration and practice.

A studio based Portrait lighting workshop. Dealing in the capturing of expression and emotion through lighting, composition and subject direction.

 

Day 2 – “Ways of Seeing: Landscape and environment” …..telling a story

A location based workshop that deals in developing one’s own way of looking / seeing and harnessing the ever-changing light and conditions to create the desired dramatic effect and convey the story you want to tell.

 

Day 3 – “Still life”… mood and meaning.

A studio and location based workshop that deals in composition, design and lighting for still life capture. We will focus on photographing objects, fauna and food in a controlled table-top studio environment as well as in interior and exterior locations.

Participants to bring their own camera.

Course Structure:   The workshops run from 10am till 5pm. Refreshments and a delicious, locally sourced lunch in included.
