Courses & Workshops at The Limes Art School
“Your Place to Flourish”
We’re thrilled to be celebrating 9 months of creative energy here at The Limes, and what an incredible journey it’s been! The buzz and excitement that fills the air when like-minded individuals gather to create together has been nothing short of intoxicating. We’ve loved every minute, and the wonderful feedback from our visitors has been deeply moving.
It’s been a pleasure for Johnny and me to meet so many of you, from local faces at our weekly art classes and life drawing sessions to visitors from around the world joining our workshops. Thanks to the power of social media, we’ve welcomed guests from the USA, Australia, Italy, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and all corners of the UK.
We are so grateful to the talented artists and makers who have led workshops with us, including:
- Emerson Mayes
- James Naughton
- Jill Ford
- Rose and Spade
- Lesley Birch
- Braythorne Baskets
- Derrick Santini
- Kim Coley
We look forward to an equally creative and inspiring 2025!
Workshops with Visiting Artists and Makers
One of the things that makes The Limes so special is our commitment to offering workshops led by expert artists and makers who are not only skilled in their craft but are also passionate educators, eager to share the techniques and insights that fuel their practice.
I’m always open to new opportunities for collaboration, so if you feel you might be a good fit to lead a workshop, do get in touch!
In addition to our guest-led workshops, our regular weekly art classes will continue on Wednesdays, and Life Drawing will remain a Tuesday evening fixture. Johnny will also announce new dates for the Wine Club soon.
We’ll be adding more workshops to our schedule throughout the year, so be sure to sign up for our mailing list to stay updated on new dates and exciting news.
